Nassau Junkanoo
From colourful costumes to exuberant dance routines, participants spend months preparing for the pageantry of this street parade accompanied by the steady beat of whistles, cowbells, horns, and goatskin drums that starts in the wee hours after midnight. The largest Junkanoo celebration takes place on Bay Street, in downtown Nassau, but Bahamians across the 16 islands celebrate this joyful tradition.

A celebration of slavery’s end combines parades, pageantry, competitions, displays, great food, and good rum.
The Spicemas Grenada Carnival takes place throughout the Caribbean each summer but Grenada’s is one of the biggest and best and attracts visitors in the thousands. The Half Marathon and 10K starts at Long Bay Beach Park situated along Negril’s famed 7-mile white sand beach.
The course loops into the town of Negril and then heads north towards the town of Green Island. The mostly flat course is an IAAF-certified half-marathon & 10K course.
